The "Functions and Graphs" section provides essential resources and materials to deepen your understanding of functions and their graphical representations. In this module, you will explore key concepts such as domain and range, transformations, function notation, and various types of functions including linear, quadratic, and exponential. By the end of this module, you will be assessed on your ability to apply knowledge and skills to both routine and complex problems. Conjecture development and testing will also be addressed. The complex questions will require you to apply key concepts to solve problems in a variety of contexts, some of which will involve interpreting the results. You will be expected to use electronic technology effectively and appropriately to assist in solving these problems. Additionally, clear and logical communication of solutions, along with correct use of mathematical notation and terminology, is required for success in this section.

Topic 2: Polynomials

Topic 1: Functions and Graphs

Topic 2: Polynomials

The "Polynomials" section provides a comprehensive exploration of polynomial functions, their properties, and their applications. You will study key concepts such as polynomial notation, degree, roots, and the behaviour of polynomial graphs. This module covers the various types of polynomials, including linear, quadratic, cubic, and highe

The "Polynomials" section provides a comprehensive exploration of polynomial functions, their properties, and their applications. You will study key concepts such as polynomial notation, degree, roots, and the behaviour of polynomial graphs. This module covers the various types of polynomials, including linear, quadratic, cubic, and higher-degree polynomials, and teaches techniques for factoring, solving polynomial equations, and analysing their graphs.

By the end of this module, you will be assessed on your ability to apply these concepts to both routine and complex problems. The complex questions will require you to solve problems in a variety of contexts, with some requiring interpretation of the results. Construction of graphical representations may also be required to support your problem-solving strategies. You will need to use electronic technology effectively and appropriately for these tasks. Additionally, clear and logical communication of solutions, with correct use of notation and terminology, will be essential to demonstrate your understanding.

Topic 3: Trigometry

Topic 1: Functions and Graphs

Topic 2: Polynomials

The "Trigonometry" section introduces key concepts related to the relationships between the angles and sides of triangles, as well as the trigonometric functions and their applications. In this module, you will explore the fundamental trigonometric ratios (sine, cosine, and tangent), the unit circle, and how to solve problems involving ri

The "Trigonometry" section introduces key concepts related to the relationships between the angles and sides of triangles, as well as the trigonometric functions and their applications. In this module, you will explore the fundamental trigonometric ratios (sine, cosine, and tangent), the unit circle, and how to solve problems involving right-angled triangles. You will also learn to use identities, solve trigonometric equations, and analyse periodic functions.

By the end of this module, you will be assessed on your ability to apply the key concepts to both routine and complex problems. The complex questions will require you to solve problems in a variety of contexts, with some questions involving interpretation of results. Construction of graphical representations may be required to support your problem-solving strategies. Effective and appropriate use of electronic technology will be expected throughout the module. Additionally, clear and logical communication of solutions, as well as correct use of notation and terminology, will be essential for success.
